20:30 or 8:30 pm this evening my heart will beat to the ears. then there will be the kick off for the re-match FCK x damn hoppenheim. the 1st match hoppenheim won with 3:1. so we need a 2:0 or more and the hoppenheimer are not permitted to shoot a goal. when they will do we had to shoot 3 goals and so on. it will be very hard to win this called relegations-match to go back to 1st german football division called 1. BUNDESLIGA. but on BETZENBERG everything goes. FCK never won against this shit team with no tradition just pushed up by millions of mr hopp, owner of software ag. HERZBLUT vs. MONEY. i will be in KAISERSLAUTERN with my dad for supporting. pics | LTG

i do not know if i really like this, but at the moment i can't stop listening to the new album “DUNNERKEIL” from KELLERKOMMANDO, bayreuth, germany. the guys KELLERKOMMANDO cross rap, hip hop elements, heavy drum & bass beats with classic polka, folk and german bar songs from the last 100 years. especially the changes in the songs are nice to hear, always surprising and exciting: what will happen in the next second of the song. and the german texts are interesting to listen at. my favorite song: “MEIN NACHBAR” ... great! funny, the “fränkisch” dialect. pics & videos | © KELLERKOMMANDO, Marc Wiessler, Severin Schweiger

this day was hard for me: mountain biking in RHOEN, germany, with my brother in law HANS. it was so hard because of heavy rain, hard storms and just 150 km i did this year before this day. HANS did 4.000 km before. f***, my legs, arms and the whole body are so tired. but it was great because of our team spirit. HANS always motivated me when i was so down. we did 95 km and 1.300 meters in high while raining and blowin' the wind 6 hours. but it was f***ing great. look at the faces and you'll see who is fit and who is down. and very important: ASSOS and ROTWILD are best stuff to manage these f***ing weather conditions. pics | my brother FABIAN

yesterday the new PETER FIELDS wallet rope arrived. the rope is made by their selves in berlin: a made in germany thing combined with brass hook and shackel from japan. it is made of a vegetable tanned leather. i got it in brown and hope that they will do a black one too because it works so good with my TANNER GOODS wallets i own in black and oxblood. good job ANIE & co! some more facts: total lenght: 46,5 cm (18,3 inch), hook: 7 cm (2,8 inch), shackle: 2, 5 cm (1,0 inch). pics | LTG

mostly when FRED c/o REDWING1905 blog goes to the states he sends me a letter. at this speedy times it is so nice to get a REAL LETTER brought to you by the postman straight into your letterbox. you open the box with a real key, take a look at the sender, the stamps, then you take a knife to open the letter, and then you read a nice handwriten message ... perfect, normal, but nearly old school nowadays. FRED sent me a letter from the famous WESTLAND DISTILLERY, seattle, with MUSCLE CAR stamps – i did a post about these beautiful little paper things some weeks ago – and an awesome card with a beautiful classic american graphic. so nice. FRED wrote that this would be the coolest whiskey bar of the USA. it is a pitty that you can't find some pics and more infos @ their homepage: www.westlanddistillery.com. okay, first release of their american single malt whiskey will be fall 2013. pics | LTG

half a year ago i did a blog post about a KUDU INDY BOOT by ALDEN for BUREAU BELFAST and i was really fascinated about this great looking antelope leather. BUREAU BELFAST right now got 2 other KUDU styles from ALDEN: a BLUCHER and a WORK BOOT. both fitted with a custom vibram sole, dark brown eyelets, flat cotton laces and a reverse split welt. the rare KUDU leather has an oil finish. certainly is this ALDEN stuff hand made in the USA. what a wonderful footwear! pics | The Bureau Belfast

found a great looking vintage WESCO JOBMASTER at japanese HOPESMORE auction site. that classic work boot is rebuilt and desinfected. it has a doubled VIBRAM #430 sole and no size marks. they say it must be about  a US 12.5E. the current highest bid is 17.800; there are 19 hours left to get this wonderful boot. pics | HOPESMORE

what a crazy idea ... for me: doing business with PONCHOS. but, i think i like ponchos. mainly on women. to wear it as a guy? hm?! yesterday i visited KLAUS c/o volls.de. it was time to pick up some stuff which was reserved for me since weeks. there wasn't any time before: because of working, working and working ... when i entered the shop i saw a line of new YUKETEN shoes and boots. wonderful, timeless classics: different styles and color-ways of MAINE GUIDE CHUKKAS and ANGLER MOCS. my favorite is the suede chestnut brown ANGLER MOC HEX EYE. for me a hybrid between a classic oxford and a boat-shoe – great look! for more information about the new stuff enter the YUKETEN site @ volls.de. i never slipped into a boot without socks and felt so comfortable as in the ANGLER MOC. i told you: an absolute perfect summer shoe. pics | volls.de, LTG

found this just some minutes ago at spiegel.de when i checked the news for today. isn't this ELECTRO HUMMER HX sweet? when GM stopped 2010 the production of the HUMMER they sold the license to china. UK based MEV owns a license too and produces this “political correct” HUMMER HX. 20 PS power, 45 km/h slow and about 30 to 50 km can be done with this shrink HUMMER. in germany not one “HUMMER-lein“ could be sold. MEV says that the most cars were shipped to the USA for the use at golf courses or big housing estates – no wonder: about 18.000 EURO must be paid for this little thing. too expensive and the electro powered engine technic is an old one. pics | TOM GRÜNWEG

okay, now it's just 8:00 o'clock in the morning and the thermometer shows 27°C here at middle germany near frankfurt. the weather forecast told us that there will be about 37–40° in the afternoon. so, this is a day to wear short chinos, a hawaii shirt and some boat shoes. sorry, but i hope it will get colder the next days because as a middle european it is 10 degrees too hot for me while working. pics | LTG

the weather forecast told us, that there will be rain and thunderstorms today in middle germany and that the next days will be about 20°C. okay, there was some rain and low winds that blow the 37°C from this morning away. for 1 hour we have had about 22°C, and now at 5 PM it is nearly 30°C again. so the next days i think it's good to know some colored short sleeved shirts in the cupboard. here some of my favorites. as you see: i love patterned shirts. pics | LTG

to excited! a JEEP WRANGLER is on my LIFE TIME GEAR list to own it one day. i think since i saw my first JEEP (an army WILLY)  in the late 60s in FULDA driven by GIs of the BLACK HORSE REGIMENT. okay, just 3 months ago i could strike another dream car from the LIFE TIME GEAR wish list. yeah, but that's another subject. isn't that pure white classic JEEP WRANGLER combined with the classic MARTINI design a beauty? and the STARWOOD MOTORS goodies? classic design meets something that does not fit but fit because of this fact combined with pure high-tech. exciting: i love this! VINTAGE US ARMY SPOON WWII

long time no post: too much to work ... heavy days just 2 weeks before i will go to spain for a 14 days holiday with the family. i have a lot of jobs to finish before.

when cooking last evening i remembered my grandma MARIA because of using this spoon below. my grandma died years ago and i told my mother that the only thing i MUST have is this wonderful spoon i used from childhood on. it reminds me the great time with my grandma who was the best you can imagine. i always loved to stay there. i don't know why, but i know exactly that as a little boy i was already fascinated by these 2 letters: US, and i knew that this spoon was ripped, however, from the BLACK HORSE REGIMENT that was garrisoned at FULDA after WWII. when i stayed at my grandma i saw the GIs passing the house where she lived for decades when they did their morning runs, singing and shouting. i will never forget this. and sorry, i miss the army in FULDA and DARMSTADT. it was a little piece of the USA here in germany. pics | LTG
